The Studio

The Studio is where you change your own site. You see your page, and you click what you want to change. Nothing reaches your visitors until you publish.

  1. Sign in to your dashboard.

  2. Click Edit in Studio. It is always on screen, at the bottom of the menu on a computer and at the top on a phone.

  3. Your site opens in the Studio, ready to edit.

You can stay in the Studio for 30 minutes after you open it. After that, publishing asks you to open it again from your dashboard. Your unpublished changes stay in your browser meanwhile. See Preview, undo and publish.

Your page takes most of the screen. It is a live preview, and it looks the way your visitors will see it once you publish.

Beside it is the editing panel. At the top it says SayVel Studio, with a note under it that reads editing and the name of your page.

  • Your pages. The page menu lists the pages you can edit. Pages that we look after for you are marked We look after this one.
  • Studio appearance. A button at the top of the panel. Choose Light, Dark or System for the Studio itself. It does not change your site.
  • One card for each section of your page. Each card shows the section’s name and its arrangement. A switch called On page shows or hides the section.
  • On every page. Cards for the parts that appear on every page: Menu, Footer, Copyright and Business details.
  • Search result. How this page shows up in a search.
  • What’s changed. A list of every change you have made, each with its own button to take it back.
  • Undo, Redo, Look and feel and Publish. These sit at the bottom of the panel. Look and feel lets you choose a look for your whole site.
