Home
Home is the first page you see after you sign in. It answers three questions in plain sentences: is my site up, did my last change go out, and what am I paying for.
What the lines mean
Section titled “What the lines mean”Under your site’s name you will see up to four short lines. A colored dot sits beside each one.
Is your site up. One of three things shows here:
- Live at and your address. Your site answered when we checked.
- We could not reach your site just now. We are looking into it, and you do not need to do anything. We check from our side. You do not need to act.
- Checking your site. Click Open it to see it live.
Your last change. It reads Last change published and how long ago. Right after you publish, it says Your latest change is on its way out now. If nothing has gone out yet, it says No changes published yet.
If our team made a change for you, this line says so in plain words, so you can tell it apart from your own.
Your plan. It reads On the and your plan name, then manage. Click manage to open Plan and billing. If you have not chosen a plan yet, it says No plan yet and the link says see plans.
Your visitors. On some plans, Home also shows one sentence about recent visitors. It only appears when your plan includes visitor numbers and there is something to report. For the full picture, see Analytics.
When none of the lines needs anything from you, Home ends with Nothing needs you right now.
The next step
Section titled “The next step”Sometimes a card appears under the lines with one thing to do next, for example Choose your plan. Click the link at the end of the card. There is at most one at a time.
The buttons under it
Section titled “The buttons under it”- Edit in Studio opens the Studio on your own site, ready to edit. It signs you in for you.

- Plan and billing opens the page where you choose or check your plan.
