Story Drift

Effects and motion

Tell your story in words, with a few of your own pictures floating around the edges and coming into focus as visitors scroll.

Plans

  1. StarterNot included
  2. BusinessIncluded
  3. ProIncluded

Business and Pro. On other plans: Price coming soon.

What it does

  • The same words as your About story: a heading, a small label and your paragraphs
  • Your own pictures sit in the margins and never behind a line of text
  • They come into focus as visitors scroll, then catch one soft pass of light
  • Keep each picture as it is, or show it round if it was shot on a background
  • Stays still for visitors who ask for less motion, and you can turn the movement off

Use cases

Entertainer

A performer lets a few props from the act, like a card, a coin and a ring, float around the story of the show.

Bakery

A bakery shows a handful of its pastries around the story of how it began.

Potter

A potter lets a few finished pieces drift beside the story of the studio.

How to add it

Your pictures are added when your site is set up. Once a section has three or more, switch it from Photo and words to Floating pictures, then choose whether the pictures move and whether they stay as they are or show round.
