Change your business details

Your business details are the facts your site repeats on every page, like your name, phone number and address. You change them once, in one place, and they update everywhere they appear.

Update your details

1. Open Home in your dashboard.

2. Scroll to Business details and click its name. The section opens and shows your current details. While it loads, it says Loading….

3. Change what you need. The fields are:

   • Business name
   • Legal name
   • Tagline
   • Description
   • Established year
   • Email
   • Street address
   • City, State ZIP
   • Phone

4. Click Save settings.

5. Wait for ✓ Saved to appear next to the button.

Saving publishes the change to your live site. Your site rebuilds, so the new wording can take a short while to show.

If a review bar appears

Some changes ask you to look first. A bar appears that begins Review before publishing and counts the changes. Under it, each change is listed in plain words.

• Click Publish changes to go ahead.
• Click Cancel to stop. Nothing is published.

If a change turns on something paid

If a change would switch on a feature that costs money, the bar says publishing is held until billing is set up. Click OK to close the bar. Nothing is published.

If it says the details changed

If you also edited your site somewhere else, such as the Studio, you may see a message that these details changed since you opened them, so nothing was saved. Reload the page, check what is there now, and make your change again.

Where these details show up

Your header and footer show your new wording once your site finishes rebuilding. The Studio also has a Business details card under On every page, if you would rather change them while you edit.

Footer copyright is separate

The copyright line and the “Built by SayVel” credit are not here. They live in Settings.
